Here at Interact Investment Partners, we’re serious about our data.
We routinely look at stats for cash sales, DOM, MF purchases and sales, as well as what zip codes are seeing the most activity, of late. We’re not just data geeks, we believe that the data tells a compelling story, and if you know what you’re looking at, you can gain a significant edge over competitors.
Others may be sitting back with a wait-and-see approach, but we like to be more proactive. We like to understand not only what the market says it’s doing, but also what the numbers tell us the market is doing.
We’ve heard it said (often) that real estate is a relationship business. It’s about the people, the connections, the networks you have in place. What’s all that based on? Data. Even if it’s a casual conversation about how somebody’s virtual graduation went last weekend, what we gather (and use) from those conversations is… data. Information. Details. And from there we gain insight and can determine our next steps.
It’s the next steps that matter. Because all the quality data in the world won’t do you any good, if you don’t know how to use it.
